Crazy find in the deer woods!!! **WARNING** Very graphic

Ain't no big deal. I've seen worse at the Trough!

Seriously, I'd donate an entire wall for that mount. Can't imagine walking into a room and spying those rack locked together.

Man! Nature's reality trumps fiction once again.

Thanks for the awesome story and pics.

Awesome brother that's a heck of a find.

my guide in Illinois had a pair of naturally lock horns he'd found. He has em siteing by fire place and they worn out in spots
where the two struggled to separate. They are kinda like a puzzle folks play with to see if they can unlock em. No one has and he won't sell em either:)

Congrats on find of a lifetime and thanks for sharing.

that is crazy! to bad they had to go out like that it would have been great to get a shot at eaither of them.

Maybe it's just me. Perhaps I'm speaking from a single man's fear of commitment. But the two dominant animals locked together and so stubborn in their own ways that they both fell to an "end all" fate....it reminds me of relationships. Not just marriage, but also political. Oops, not going to start something. Please disreguard my comments. :D

Nice racks and a great story behind the trophy. Heckuva waste of a whole lotta good meat. Think of all the venison stew or tacos you could make with that much deer meat.

Am I the only one seeing irony in the bony remains of a To-The-Death fight being used as "... a great addition to their new office" for a pair of business partners? Or is it just my cynicism showing again? ;) :D :D

Any pics of the one you filled your tag with?

I am sad I didn't see this when you first posted it, those photos are AWESOME!

Well, years ago I used to buy nice antler material on Ebay for my knapped blades. I have not done any hand knapping for at least 6 years now.
I remember one set going for $800. and (I am straining my memory) but, I don't think they were nearly as nice as yours. I just checked Ebay completed auctions and one set just sold for $230. but, the seller had unlocked them in order to free them from the skulls. A huge boo-boo on his part. You might want to call around to some higher end taxidermy shops and E-mail them a photo.
