How the scale's texture gets mimics from the 3D hamon, and how the waves face each other in black field on the back of the handle...a lot of very interesting details!! :thumbup:
 
I too think those scales are amazing. This is the best looking folder I've ever seen and I'm not into the flashy ones normally. This just pulls all the elements together so perfectly. This is one of those knives that converts guys from casual knife owners to collectors.

Don..... just wow.... I often get visually overwhelmed by mosaics combined with other complex textures and colors. But, this piece is perfectly balanced. I actually got a lump in my throat when I saw it. Very moving piece, brother.

Terrific image of an outstanding Scary Tac. Favorite mosaic bolsters on one, yet, Don! And, add the scales and hamon that mirror each other side to side so well...a Hanson-Coop masterpiece. :thumbup::thumbup:
