Creating a Beckerhead

That's a great thing to do, and I am sure it is something he will remember forever. Now the Becker bug venom is no doubt running through his veins :D

I wouldn't ride in a Hot Air Balloon WITHOUT a chute:D

Me either! Ha! :D

Just a helpful suggestion a piece of 550 cord makes it a lot easier to get the top shock cord off.

Simple and effective. Thanks for that!

thats a cool jesture always nice too see kids get into the outdoors and adults helping them along!
You're a very corrupting influence, doing something like that. Nice job.

Did you cut off the second webbing snap strap on the sheath or did it come like that?

Thanks guys!

The sheath came to me like you see it now, and doesn't look like a strap was cut off.

That's a great thing to do, and I am sure it is something he will remember forever. Now the Becker bug venom is no doubt running through his veins :D

Thank you very much. And I sure hope so. :D

Appearently i need to open my eyes. That slim profile and lack of ss liners should have told me it wasn't a rat. I guess the awesomeness of the 17 distracted me :P

I created my Becker enthusiast (she is not a BeckerHead yet) by doing the following: Because she knows everything & Dad knows nothing, Dad bought her the Bear Grylls knife that she just HAD to have. Dad told her it was junk but i don't know anything. We did a knife test in our backyard. I had my BK2, (which is the knife i told her to buy). Chop test: hers did ok & BK2 won by a large margin. Carving test: hers actually did a little better here, mine still had factory edge & had not been thinned at that point. Finally: the stab test into wood: they were both about the same but Dad has way more power for this than she did. The REAL test came when pulling said knives from the wood. Because she knows everything & Dad knows nothing, she removed it by wiggling it left to right, instead of up & down like you are supposed to. Result: bent tip on Bear Grylls knife. I laughed. I told her to do it with my BK2. She did: nothing damaged. I even pounded it in to the wood deeper, by the extended tang & then told her to wiggle it out left to right. She did: NO DAMAGE. This was about 2-3 yrs ago.

Her conclusions: Dad knows knives, BK&T knives are far superior to any Bear Grylls knives & she don't know as much as she thought she does. She just Graduated High School & has started College. She still thinks she knows everything. I told her she should do well in College, seeing as how she knows everything !!! :D LOL

^^^ That made me chuckle, thanks for that! :D

There was a time when I knew everything too! Then I turned 18......
