Did I read correctly that they are AUS6? If so, WHY?

I read a post that said Aus 6 was used to keep down the cost. I doubt if the Spydercard is going to be a primary blade for most people like a Delica or Calypso.

Spydercards are also available thru Ironstone here in Hawaii.
