Today I leave a special piece for sale, it is a Creole knife, made of damascus steel pattern ladder, its button is worked with lime, the knob is also in damascus steel and is threaded to the tang, which makes a solid piece. it has a back edge of 1/3 of a blade. It is encased in urunday wood.
the sheath is woven by hand, with a remarkable neatness, fine rawhide threads. the length of the knife is 11 "and its useful edge measures 6.3"

Absolute beautiful piece. Can I ask about the name Creole knife, even living in Louisiana I’ve never heard of a knife being described as Creole.

Thanks a lot! The Creole knife is the traditional Argentine knife, which for you would mean a Bowie for example, it is a beautiful knife, very traditional here! Like this type of hand-sewn cover, originally by gauchos using leather scraps

Ok, here in Louisiana (particularly south Louisiana) there is a population of people described as Creole. Mostly African and Spanish or Caribbean decent.
Thanks for the reply.
