Here is an older hand forged Craig Barr bowie, in a pattern I am not positive that he makes anymore. Over all length is about 13", with 8" being blade and 7" of cutting edge. Forged 1095. Carried some fishing but not used. Extremely sharp and I do not say that lightly at all, this thing is scary with a bite to the edge that is unreal. Handle is about 5", leather washers and vulcanized spacers, nickel sliver with nut butt cap and brass double guard. Fully flat ground and distal taper to the point. Right about .25" at the guard maybe a tad less. Extremely quick in the hand and a classic design. Mr. Barr is concentrating mostly on blanks and his famous Damascus tomahawk heads. He does make fully finished hunters though for a good deal more than the asking price of this rare fighter. So there ya go. This is one of the nicest styles of this fighter I've owned bar none. You will not be disappointed in it.
Craig runs Deer Mountain Forge and he concentrates on blanks and tomahawk heads for the most part but does do smaller type hunting knives. This comes with his own sheath too that is very heavy duty and very well made. Tried to get all the anomalies with the blade to show up and they did. Looks much worse in the pics than when holding the knife in your hand. Near mirror finish too. This is one of my grail fighters/bowies.
