Is FRN the only handle material available for the Cricket? How good is the for everyday use?
Any other info on the Cricket is appreciated.

Currently FRN is the only handle option available. They made a metal handled one in the past, called "Tufram". I've owned a Serrated Tufram model for the last 5 months, and find it gets more use than the Delica.

It's size makes it seem like less of a knife, but it's the perfect size for most tasks.

My opinion on the use of this little workhorse can be found easily on both spyderco forums.

Now we just need a 4" version of this for utility, and that will be the perfect workhorse. Just double the stats, nothing fancy...
 
they have been discontinued, but you may find one.

I bought the serrated and someone from New York got the plain edge from Cutting Edge. They only had 1 of each...

Good luck finding one.
 
They also made a Carbon Fiber model a few years ago. I use mine as a money clip. (good luck finding one)
