Some of you may know that a young man named Shane Ivie passed away a few weeks back. There has been an auction going at Knifenet and some makers have donated some very nice pieces.

Instead of going the auction route I have this Rob Criswell fighter for sale. All the $$ from the sale will go to Shane's wife, Kathy. The funds can be mailed to Kathy, knifemaker David Johansen or myself.

The knife is a custom by Rob with a 7 1/2" blade of A-2 steel. The handle is cord wrapped over G10 with a pined G10 butt. The guard is Stainless. This comes with two sheaths, one by Rob and one by David Brown in Carbon Fiber pattern Kydex, with a TekLok.

The selling price is SOLD and includes shipping. Paypal to me is OK and I'll eat the fees. This knife is new!

This knife has been SOLD!!
Thanks,
Win

Win,

I'm not familiar with Shane Ivie, but I know a little bit regarding Rob Criswell's work. In fact, I thought I read a while back that Rob had stopped making his famous versions of long & short swords. If that is true, your donation is worth far more than you are asking, and you're doing it all for a good cause. That's what is so meaningful of our knife community spirit - we all try to help fellow members. Best of luck with your generous offer. I'm sure Shane's wife is very appreciative of what you and other collectors are doing on her behalf.

Good Luck,
Ken
