Criswell Japanese style swords

I saw these at the West Coast Show and they appeared and felt pretty good. I've never heard anyone review these that have used them. I have heard people say that they are just big knives and not swords. The RC readings are hard to believe and the hollow grind is unusual for Japanese swords. But the price is very reasonable for a sword meant for use. I really like these pommels better than the ring used before.

Can anyone share any experience with these?

They have actually been discussed here before. I think that the general consensus is that if you are a traditionalist that you will not like them and may not even consider them katana.

If you are a non-traditionalist you may very well like them because things that traditionally make a katana do not matter all that much anyway and apparently they perform well.
