The only feature I question is the plunge. I might want it sharp across the entire edge.
That's a thought...The only feature I question is the plunge. I might want it sharp across the entire edge.
Show me the thumb ramp you draw it!MAKE EXTRAS
i'd add an exposed pommel that's kinda pointy and a tiny thumb ramp on top
I'm 6'7 and I'd be happy to make this my hairbrush handleAgree with the complete plunge..... And if add an additional pin/Corby in the center for looks. And I'd broomstick the pommel for more diverse grips. Get rid of the pinky bite. Are you sure of the angle, are you really tall?
If it were mine I'd use it to open up all the packaging that the windows and doors and things like that come in at the job site! Or maybe open up a bag of chicken feed! What do you envision doing with it?
You will like that knife , if it is first you make and use .Whenever I need something to cut in my shop I look for knife quite similar to this one , and I have then plenty of them around . Thumb ramp make sense on this type of blade because most cutting is done with tip so thumb will add pressure on tip . Cutting something with the tip on a hard surface /say food on a ceramic dish / is excellent, it does not dull the blade because only the very tip touches the surface .What steel you plan to use ?Thanks you guys you made my day!
