Critique Request

One thing is for sure, you aren't afraid to experiment and you have the skills to do it. :thumbup:

Wider blade, shorter ricasso, raise the backspine to the handle--they've all mentioned what I would see, too. Great treatment to the butt end of the handle.

I LOVE the dual bevel grind, though. Sure it's unnecessary, but it's also a real eyecatcher and I can't see a notable downside. Keep it up.

I pretty much agree on the recasso being too long. Sharpbycoop didnt leave much for me to say as I agree with his statements. Otherwise everything looks prettty good and its by no means a bad looking knife.
 
I'm another one that doesn't think the ricasso area looks right. It breaks up the flow and to me nothing to enhance the appearance. It may function well, but the way it looks would turn me away from considering purchasing it.

Sorry if my comments appear to be meant to be hurtful. That is not my intent. There are things I really like about the knife, such as the handle and the rest of the blade. I think your grinds are excellent.
