Sometimes I hate trying to name these designs. But sometimes they remind me of a person; their style, their personality, etc. Sometimes the stories behind how they were named are just cool to share too.

I'm new here and I'm not well known yet, and there has been some trepidation at times, and well...............I just want to set the record straight on some things. I make knives. I love doing it. It's an expensive hobby. Selling some helps pay for tools and material. All of this is fun for me, and should be fun for all involved, and I'll do my best to keep it that way. When you see RSKT, I want you to think happy thoughts. That being said, I don't live on forums. I work full-time as a Paramedic Supervisor and I mangle metal on my off hours, sometimes successfully. In the meantime, I have a farm and a family to attend to, so I get short on time and sometimes there may be a delay in responding to emails. BUT, I've found a way around that, I'm very free with my contact phone numbers (via email and pm because I don't just want it floating in the interwebz). Bottom line, I hate that we've become a society where paypal is the barometer of a man's integrity. Especially when issues and inefficiency on paypal's end cost me dearly years ago (email, pm, or call me if you want the details. Everyone I've told my story to has left understanding why, and agreeing with, my conclusion). Bottom line is, Family, Friends (you all included), God, and Country are the pillars on which I have built my life. Integrity is the glue that binds it all. You'll find none lacking here.

Oh, and I'm a reminiscer and love romancing sappy thoughts on occasion. Including the memories of some of the folks, or circumstances I name my knives after. So, for all those new customers who have given me a shot, actually called me on the phone and just generally made this budding knifemaker feel welcome and trusted, a great big thumbs up from this guy! I appreciate it.

On to the good stuff: MORE PICS AVAILABLE VIA EMAIL UPON REQUEST.

Left to right

1) "Ricky" This is the updated version of my staple EDC. I sell more of these than any other single model. Unfortunately, this one got sold right before I put this listing up, but I can make more. This one is named after my little buddy, a 10yr old Golden Retriever. Faithful pup. Knife is similar in character.

2) "Critter"; Around the farm we have lot's of them. Sorta like what I see in the future for this design. Immensely versatile. Classic look. I think it's a winner. This version has a slightly more rounded butt than the one listed later.
Steel: 1080 from Kelly Cupples, HT by me, quenched in Parks 50, Tempered to 57-58hrc
Blade: High flat ground, distal taper, 3.82" long and 3/16" thick at the ricasso. Hand rubbed to 1000 grit. Forge scale flats.

OAL:7.75"
Lanyard-8 strand BCY B55 (bronze/orange) bowstring. Held with copper wire wrap.
Not Pictured: Your choice of leather (color your choice as well), or kydex. Specify Right or Left side carry on leather sheaths. My kydex sheaths are modular and can be configured by the user.
Price: $105 shipped CONUS. Will discuss shipping international with the buyer.

3) "BUYER GETS TO NAME THIS ONE". Yeah, just not witty enough this morning to name this design. It's quick in the hand (balanced at front pin) and stout.
DISCLAIMER: Slight glue line between right liner and tang, very slight, and the plunges aren't as perfect as I'd like. Priced to reflect.
Steel: 1095 from Kelly Cupples, HT by me, quenched in Parks 50, Tempered to 56-57HRC
Blade: High flat ground, distal taper, 5.43" long and 3/16" thick at the ricasso. Hand rubbed to 1000 grit. Forge scale flats.

OAL:10.75"
Lanyard-8 strand BCY B55 (lime ZOMBIE green/orange) bowstring. Held with copper wire wrap.
Not Pictured: Your choice of leather (color your choice as well), or kydex. Specify Right or Left side carry on leather sheaths. My kydex sheaths are modular and can be configured by the user.
Price: sold shipped CONUS. Will discuss shipping international with the buyer.

4) "Retro Bob"; My Uncle Bob was a consumate knife-guy. WWII vet, stormed the beaches at Normandy. Sweet guy, awesome story teller, and true hero. This one reminded me of him and his old Dodge Omni for some reason.
Steel: 1080 from Kelly Cupples, HT by me, quenched in Parks 50, Tempered to 57-58hrc
Blade: High flat ground, distal taper, 3.43" long and 3/16" thick at the ricasso. Hand rubbed to 1000 grit. Forge scale flats.

Price: $old shipped CONUS. Will discuss shipping international with the buyer.

5) "Critter"; Around the farm we have lot's of them. Sorta like what I see in the future for this design. Immensely versatile. Classic look. I think it's a winner. This version has a slightly squared butt compared to the one listed before.

Price: Sold shipped CONUS. Will discuss shipping international with the buyer.

6) same specs as 1, but with yellow liners. This one sold just as I was beginning this post (just can't keep them in stock), and don't have the knives with me to take a different pic. I'm always making these though.

it is good to see some of the fine work you do with your knives
with that said I personally vouch for justin as I have known him for about two or so years
he is a straight up honest guy and a good friend and that is why I will buy from him for many more years
again those are some nice blades

Justin (RSKT),

First-- sent you an email on #5 the orange handled critter.

Second, couldn't agree more with you statements above. Key factor is that knife building is a passion and hobby for you. Life is working, paying bills and taking care of your responsibilities in addition to enjoying your family, hobbies and free time. I for one, love the fact that I can call you on the phone if I have a question rather than just depend on trying to communicate through email.

Third, keep up the great work!

Dave (tbird911)

Really nice looking blades, hopefully when funds are available I will have he pleasure of doing business with you!

Thanks Jeremy! I am willing to hold knives for up to 14 days if you like. Sorta like no money down layaway.

That's very cool of you but waiting for some school money and taxes probably, so would definitely be longer than 14 days. How much does a "Ricky" go for?

Love your work. I'm an EMT-A/FF in Tennessee with a bad steel dust habit as well. When it's in the budget, I will own one of those Critters. Great design.

Thanks IRO-bot! Must be somethin' bout you Tennessee boys and these critters! I'm sending more to TN than any other state, lol.
