Critters

Well this is right up my alley. I've been shooting wildlife for decades. A little sampling:

Awesome images, very cool!

I've been at is a while too. I wasn't sure of the expectations with this thread, so I had been trying to stick to current stuff, which didn't leave me much with me being more focused on Flora than fauna lately. But if older stuff is fine, I'll enjoy this thread a lot more.

These are some that make me miss Florida, taken 14 years ago this summer

better photo equipment is something thats been on my list for a while, but then I always end up spending my money on something else, so there aren't the same quality of what some of you guys are sharing...

this snapping turtle was heading back down to our little pond when I got home yesterday.

We have a female Flycatcher who produced 6 eggs this year. Two of them hatched by 9:00 this morning, the third by noon. Just to put this into perspective…those eggs are the size of a Cadbury Mini Egg.

(Do I remember you from BushcraftUSA?)
Nah sorry mate. Ive never heard of BushcraftUSA until just now.
The cocky flew out the next day. Today I watched 2 magpies fight to the death. Nature can be very cruel.
Screenshot_20260717_050523_Photos.jpgI tried to break them up but they were back at it shortly after. A mob of pied currawongs flew in to watch as well.

You have some exceptionally aggressive wildlife down there! The spiders and snakes you have are a big NOPE from me!

Stay Safe!
