The way it came from the factory has been fine for you ? How strong is the factory detent ?
It was perfect. My Inkosi is smooooooooooooth as smooth.
Got a question to inkosi owners. I have several 21's and an Umnum. The 21's i could play with all night without a sore thumb but Umnum after about 10 it drives me crazy i feel like after each opening from 10+ the detend gets stronger and harder. Do i need to get me some ceramic lock/detend thumbs?
Unlocking the Umnum is a painfull process soo little wiggle room in there

I'm the opposite. I like a strong detent.
Are you opening it the same way you may use on a 21? The Umnumzaan opens differently. The thumb rides along the scale pushing up on the thumbstud.

The Small Classic I have sitting next to me takes 1.1lbs of force to open, My small Inkosi takes .81
Have a small digital electronic weight scale that sits in my gun cabinet.
Sweet collection thin-slice [emoji106]
On the topic of polishing washers, mine is plenty smooth from the factory but i am interested...
Anyone have advice on how to do this, grit progressions, techniques, or even lessons learned (what not to do)? How about end results, even smoother than factory?
