What years were California Buckeye Burl a part of the annual series?
I had a friend that sold one here on BF around 1999 or 2000..I would like to see if I could find the same year he had. I need to start a wtb thread in the exchange when I find that info.

Thanks all- The goal here is to try and track down my former coworkers knife that he sold..I thought it was pre2000, but it very well could have been a 2002..especially if that is the only choice... It would be nice if it was the same knife, but that is not realistic. Just the year is what I am trying to pin down. I'm sure he would kill me if I bought it and then flaunted it around him as he told me not so long ago that he regrets selling it
I will create a WTB thread next week if this is the consensus that 2002 is the earliest BEB annual.

I did not include the user 2001 large maple burl annual in the pics because i Do not own it anymore . A friend offered to purchase it as he was looking for a user annaul.

I do not have a pic posted above of the 2001. Also Sadly the Large 06 Amboyna appears to be lost

That's the Owl, it's rather well known for it's owl near the pivot. And the grain is even prettier in person. An absolutely fantastic piece, there's not a prybar big enough to get this one away from me. It's a large California Buckeye Burl.
