CRK Birthcard?!

Your thread..I am fine with it staying open...Populate it with some pics when you get a chance.
We like pics around here as it is.

Either way..your call
Thanks, I'll upload some photos tomorrow and then see what y'all think.

Pics are a must and see if you can post it hem without the drama . Once you get it, look on the inside of each slab towards the lanyard end for a date stamp. Don't freak out if they don't match ;),
And take a deep breath, count to ten because the bday card won't be close to the slab dates.

^^^^ Great visual presentation
I believe it is not unheard of that they use an older style card from time to time, after a change.

These are good photos that show the evolution. I understood from OP's question that he got an entirely handwritten one, but was expecting something like your 2013 where the knife description is typed vs. handwritten.
Yeah I wondered the same thing..but oh well seems legit. I'll post some close ups of the knife later today after I'm off work, I've watched a video on the differences between the real thing vs fake and it's quite obvious lol. So I'll be able to tell off the bat. Regardless I think I made a good deal.

Once again guys thanks for helping me out with this paranoia lol. Hopefully SOME of you can understand given how much money is being ponied up.

Can't say the newest eddition does much for me. It gets the job done, but just not much visual appeal IMO
Not that I spend much time looking at the birth cards-basically see they are there and to the drawer along with the box.

Oh I wasn't wondering. It actually looks good to me. I'm sure I have a few like that at home. I was just clarifying that that's what I thought your question was.

Yeah I don't care what it looks like haha, just making sure it's legit.

She's real! Very stupid of me to doubt. Hahah. She's already flicking open like a champ. (Not sure why people say you can't thumb flick benzas?)

^^ the little tube of thread locker if it comes with that model.

Absolutely, CRK uses the same Styrofoam packing for all the CRK folders. The 25,Umnumzaan and Inkosi come with Locktite, the 21's don't.

^^^What they said. Typically the 21 does not need LockTite. It's one of the beauties of the design, along with the pivot bushing. Just tighten the screws down snug, and you're GTG.

Also, I must confess the PJ 21's never really spoke to me (at least until well seasoned)...but your pics might change that.

I was going to kid you and say, "that's where the little bottle of special fluid goes to test and see if the birth card is a forgery, like they use on $100 bills."

Too soon?
Hahahaha man that would have made my night. I feel like we'd get along with our dry sense of humors.
Kudos for this :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
