CRK Birthday Wish List

I'd like to find a large Sebenza with a birthdate of October 7th or February 29th.
 
looking for 9-17birthday, 5-12wifes birthday, 4-21-2012 wedding anniversary

I have 2-28-13 Seb 25, will gladly trade/sell to anyone that needs this special date.
 
I'm still looking for a November 17th and March 3rd.

I'll pay top dollar for a January 11, 2011.
 
Would be nice to put together an updated list. The OP is no longer maintaining the one on the first page.

I just listed this one and checked the birthdate thread in the CRK sub-forum and see you have this date on your want list. This knife is only a couple of months old, can't recall how long I've had it. I bought it direct from KA myself. I have carried it a few times but it has been very lightly used. I have never sharpened it so the factory edge is still intact. I don't see any snail trails at all. It's a great knife but I have a couple of other smalls and an Inkosi on the way so this one is on the block

Hi Guys and Gals! I am so happy to share that our first baby (boy) was born last Nov. 10, 2015. I am an ecstatic father right now. Can barely put him down for sleep.

I would like to see if there is any CRKs already out there that has the same birthday? I would love to own one w/ my son's birthday. Please kindly send me message if you are considering one for sale. I might consider other years, but for now, 11/10/15 is what I am looking for..

I will consider all CRKs, but mostly looking for sebenzas, small is preferable but not required.

Congrats!!!! Call CRK and see if they can tell you what dealer(s) got the stuff produced on Tuesday.

I didn't know this thread existed. I would love to find a small 21 or Mnandi produced for my daughters' birthdays.

Thanks LW!!! Angela confirmed that they did some small baych last 11/10/15. But she said to contact the dealers.. I already tried KnifeArt.. No luck..

Will try again on Saturday.
 
Both times I called in CRK in the morning and they wanted to know which flavor of knife I was looking for. They got back to me later on the same day after finding out who had the knife.

The first one was a Mnandi. My sons birthday. I called CRK about a week after he was born. CRK told me that the only Mnandi's they made that day were mammoth and all went to Knives Ship Free. I called KSF and told them that CRK said they had my knife and asked them to confirm the birthday. They did as I was on the phone and I grabbed it.

The second one I called on the very day my nephew was born. Angela called back later that day after checking and said all went overseas except for 4 or 5 of them. The 4 or 5 did not go to a dealer. CRK kept them in house. I bought a Mnandi direct from them and was able to hand the knife to my brother as a gift 2 days later.

ETA - I missed your above post where you said you already called CRK. I'm surprised they didn't tell you who got the knives. I'd call them back as their dealer list is pretty long these days and that could be a ton of phone calls for you. Even if they could tell you what was made so you could narrow it down a bit.

When my double blue thumb lug drop-point Sebenza 21 comes in I'm going to make the knifes birthdate my "Sebenza" birthday, as in the day I got my first top-shelf folder. In the future I'll try to get either a small inlayed Devon Thomas basketsweave Damascus blade Minandi or Sebenza 21, with mammoth bark, his BD and his initials on it. It's always good to plan ahead and keep your dreams alive.
