Crk calfskin pouch, clip up or down?

This might be a dumb question but…
Just got my first crk sebenza with the calfskin sheath and i am wondering if most of you put the knife in tip up or tip down?

I want to start molding the slip to my knife, but dont want to start off upside down (if there is such a thing)

Because of the lanyard I have always gone tip up. That way I grab the lanyard when it's in my pocket it pull it out.

That does make sense I was leaning towards tip up as that's how it would be carried with the clip but mine came with a lanyard spacer and lanyard off.

What the first member said. I have several CRK's with a pouch.

I Can't Stand to have a knife or a knife with a pouch horizontal in my rf pocket. I always use the clip.

I'd much rather use the clip and not have the extra motions of taking the knife out of and into the pouch. IMO using a pouch is a pita.
 
How do you carry the pouch in your pocket? Not enough room with my wallet (refuse to carry my wallet in back pocket)
 
Some folks who use the pouch remove the clip and screw on the insert. I think if I was pouching I'd go this route. And definitely tip up :cool:
 
Thanks for the feedback fellas I'm going tip up in the pouch for now but I'm sure I will eventually end up clipped rfp.[emoji106]

Then carry your knife in your back pocket.
Problem solved.
 
All my CRKs live in pouches, but only my Mnandi gets carried in one. They all go in tip up/lanyard out.
