Hi Everyone. I really want to see the CRK DVD. Does anyone have a copy they would let me borrow? I will gladly pay for shipping to and from :)

I am looking for a copy of this movie too I looked on my Netflix but they don't have probably need to buy a copy...but I also read in a thread where a guy got a free copy when he went to their shop. Now that I hear that Gfeller makes their cases I want to watch it. :o
 
I would also like to borrow/purchase a copy. Please PM or e-mail me if you can help.

For those wondering, the DVD is no longer available from CRK so the only way to see it is to borrow/purchase an existing copy.
 
Maybe if we can track one down and there is enough interest we can do a pass-around of the DVD and raffle it off in the end. Anyone possibly interested in this?
 
FWIW, I noticed a copy for sale on the bay not to long ago. If there is enough interest, this would be a cool pass around item!
 
If anyone is able to find one online for sale please PM me. I would be willing to put the money up front to get it in our hands. Everyone interested in a pass-around can then just PayPal me their cost and we can get on our way. We can work out all the details after we get the DVD; since that's clearly going to be the hardest part. I have to call CRK for another reason on Monday so I'll ask then if they have one they can sell me.
 
I am pretty sure that CRK doesn't have any more for sale, unless they have an extra copy they are willing to let us have just for the pass-around.

When I placed an order a few months ago I tried to order the DVD, but they said they were out of stock and had decided not to have any more made.
 
It is a great set to watch. A friend owns them, and I have watched them a few times. Nothing like watching Fooj on the 50" flat screen:D

With today's technology, I am sure CRK can just upload a copy of it to a server and charge a fee for downloading it, all without having to print a bunch of new DVD's.

Great point. Or maybe they can get it on iTunes. I've started a list of people for the possible pass-around. Please forgive me if I have (not)added your name on here. I can fix it just let me know. This is of course if we are able to track one down for us to buy.

I'm okay with the number of people the way it is but we can always add or delete a couple. The important thing right now is that we get our hands on a DVD. I'm going to call CRK tomorrow and ask if they have any we can buy. In the meantime, if anyone finds one for sale let me know and I can order it.
 
Depending on how nice everyone asks, I may be willing to share my copy. I counted 8 as well, Caly, but I imagine that more will show up. OF course, there will have to be some rules as with any passaround. The standard BF rules would have to apply, including having either a paying membership or being a registered member in good standing for at least 6 months. Everyone signing up would have to have personal messages and email activated through Bladeforums, as well as share your real name, shipping address, and telephone number with the passaround manager (any volunteers?)

See here - Bladeforum passaround rules by Spark. I think that you should have a fair number of CR sub-forum posts as well - say 10? There should be enough personal information in your profile so we will know something about who you are please.

I think that 1 week per person should be fair. With shipping time factored in that usually runs about 3 people per month. If we take 18 people max, that's a six month passaround. And I want the DVD set back after we're done - no raffle. Sorry.

Let's see how many folks are really interested and meet the criteria and I think we should be able to make this happen. What do you guys think?
