CRK flouro grease alternatives?

Sounds like it works the same way Militec-1 does.

Only thing different is that Frog Lube is Bio-based using two "food based" components whereas Militec is solvent based. You could accidentally ingest Frog Lube and not get sick. The MSDS sheet on Frog lube bears this out.

Militec is solvent based and according to its MSDS sheet is unsafe if ingested

Yeah!! I use it and it way beyond awesome. I dis assemble my knife, wipe it down and the washers. Heat the parts up with a hair dryer, swab on the Frog lube, let it cool down. Wipe dry the parts with the cloth and reassemble. No wet oil or grease for lint and such to adhere to. Unbelievable action!!!!!!!

Good to know. How frequent are you having to reapply? I may try it next time. I've had good success with it on everything else.

That varies a lot with if I'm using the knife alot in wet grimy conditions in my kitchen or doing chores outside. I'm mostly using my knives in dry conditions and I don't recall applying it more than once in quite a while.

I use the stuff on my bicycle chains, exclusively, too. Best shifting ever!

I will have to try it. I know that they say Militec-1 is non toxic on the website. I guess that means skin contact. I have never figured that enough of any lube would make it onto my food to hurt anyway.

I use frog lube on my sebbie, for all my knives & firearms as well. for some time now. I will continue using it, i like it. Smells nice too!!
Frog Lube anyone? Anyone ever tried it on the Seb pivot? I've used it on just about everything else with good results.
