CRK GB 5.5 Blade Length?

If anyone happens to have a CRK GB 5.5 and a precise scale handy, what I would like to know is this: What is the maximum blade length anyone could construe, using the worst case method and angle of measurement? This is for legal reasons, so accuracy counts! As you measure, you might imagine yourself being some low-life bureaucratic dirtbag, hoping against hope that you can stretch the dimension enough to turn some otherwise law abiding citizen into a felon.

And with that calibration in mind, what's the number?

I'd say 5.5" however, if you do it in a way to show that it's maybe a bit longer... 5.54" is the lenght from the very tip to the line of the handle slab.
