CRK General Question

This is all minutia .... The 31 has a thinner blade, better for cooking chores, and pretty sturdy...You can get into history/discontinued as your time permits... Get a Large, you'll probably get at least 75% of your money back if you hate it... I have all of them and not a bad one in the bunch! Yes it's worth it, if you use/enjoy your knives! B

I'm in Canada and if where you live is like where I live there's a good chance of border guards confiscating the knife when it reenters the country. I wouldn't start a Sebenza because of this. You can pinch a washer if you assemble the knife incorrectly and the knife has to go back to CRK for new washers. CRK will mail you replacement Inkosi or Zaan washers if you need any. I like Inkosis and Zaans better anyways.
I came to say this. If your concern is sending it in, the Inkosi is the better choice because all the hardware is replaceable without sending it in. Otherwise, it's a pure preference issue.

I live in the Montreal area. I didn't get any knife confiscated yet but I've heard stories. Thanks for your input. I'm still hesitant between the Sebenza 31 and the Inkosi. These days I'm leaning towards the Inkosi. I would like to buy used. Is there a place where I can post my specific request for a used one?

Post here.

In regards to the 31, I’ve had 3 with zero issues, no lock rock, no screws backing out, etc., all 3 were perfect.

I’m still thinking of giving the Inkosi a try though, just not sure about that second finger groove and how it will feel in the hand.

Ergonomics are very personnal I believe. You have to be able to try before buying but it's impossible with CRK in Canada!!!
