Crk insingo thumb stud question

It wasn't all that long ago that people were swapping them out with thumb studs from the benchmades. I don't recall what model of knife they were off of though but I'm thinking they were from a griptilian.

Yes Griptilian studs work straight in on the large. However on the small, the step on the stud that goes into the blade needs to be thinned a bit.

I find that getting behind the thumbstud, where the pad of your thumb is actually touching the blade, works for me!

+1. I aim for the very base of the stud, and like 91bravo said, behind it (more between the stud and the handle).
