A Sebenza for your consideration....
The first person to post I'll take it without contingencies and a follow up e-mail will receive purchasing priority.
Please ask any questions prior to making a purchase commitment. My top priority is a hassle free transaction. I'll be more than happy to provide additional / higher resolution photos and discuss questions via PM, e-mail, or over the phone. I've done my best to accurately describe the condition of the knives I'm offering for sale, but there's always the issue of process variation and manufacturing tolerances inherent to this type of product so please inquire if there are issues of particular importance to you.
I will accept payment via USPS Money Order, or PayPal ("Purchase" type only, I will not accept PayPal Gift) with a confirmed address per the pricing listed. That being said, please be aware that if you have less then 5 positives as a buyer on itrader (or any negatives) I will prefer a US postal money order. I will ship via USPS w/signature confirmation and provide insurance to CONUS only.
I'm not interested in any trades at this time.
I reserve the right to not do business with any individual without explanation. All sales are as is, where is and without warranty (except as provided by the manufacturer). All sales are final. By purchasing this item you are stating that you are 18 years of age or older and abiding by all local, state and federal laws concerning the purchase, transportation and possession of this item.
CRK Large Regular Line Drive Sebenza w/ a BG-42 Blade: The handles are marked A 00, and though I don't have the original Born On card the 4-17-08 Refurbished card identifies the blade as being BG42, which I believe makes sense given the date code on the handles. I recently acquired this knife in a trade with an authorized dealer so I don't know this knife's history and can't say with certainty whether it has been used, or not. I would guess not based on it's condition, but that is just a guess. I am reasonably certain it has not been used since it was refurbished in 2008. The blade looks clean to me, as does the bead blasted handle, though I've found the bead blasting on other Sebenza's to be somewhat susceptible to minor handling marks so lets call it 99%. The thumb stud has a bit of anodizing wear on the tip. The color anodized portion of the decorated handle looks good, but there are some fine scratches on the polished surface. In addition I couldn't get the polished surface looking perfectly clean with just a cloth and a bit of water. Based on prior experience I believe some Pre-Lim surface cleaner (made by the same company who makes Renaissance Wax), or a similar metal cleaner / polish would clean the handle up quite nicely, but to do it right I'd want to take the knife apart, which is something I didn't wish to do in this case. Lock up is solid and at, or just under 50%. The blade is just slightly off center in the closed position.
As always I've tried to be critical in my description, but all in all this knife is in great condition that could (in my opinion) be improved to near perfection with a trip to the spa, or quite possibly with a take down and polish of the decorated handle at home. The box and paperwork in the last photograph are included. I'm offering this knife for: $595 USPS MO / $615 PayPal
