Good afternoon everyone,

I'm looking downsize my rotation a bit, so I'm putting up for sale two of my Basketweave Sebenzas. Both have seen EDC use, which for me, is not hard use at all. The knives come with all paperwork, tools, grease, thread locker, etc. The only thing not included with either one is the blue microfiber cloth. The lanyard on each knife has been untied, but is included.

Please feel free to make me offers on these. Anything that sells this evening will ship in the morning.

1) Sebenza 25 Basketweave CGG - $OLD

This knife was born on February 29, 2016 and came into my possession from KnivesShipFree in March. It saw a couple of months of regular EDC use, but it has very few marks to show. The only marks on the scales are a few hairline scratches near the CRK engraving, and a snail trail on the front of the lockside (next to the spine of the blade tip when closed) from how I must put knives in my pocket.

The blade may show a few hairline scratches in the finish, but I couldn't find or capture any to photograph. The finish on CRK's damascus is rather sturdy, and stays show-worthy for quite some time. The edge has been lightly touched up on a Spyderco Doublestuff; factory bevels are completely intact.

Lockup is typical of the 25, late and rock solid. Exact lockup position can be seen by the picture of the tang mark. Centering is perfect.

The knife has been disassembled, mostly of my curiosity to get the 25 apart. It has been correctly reassembled, with the pivot and stop pin loctited in place for perfect action. It is smooth, and if the lockbar is moved over, the blade will drop free, still with no play.

The price reflects that this has been used, and that this model variation is still readily available.

2) Sebenza 21 Large Basketweave Micarta - $575 --> $555 --> $535 --> $525 --> $510!! SPF

The knife was born on March 30, 2016 and came into my possession from BladeHQ less than a week later. It has seen a few uses as EDC, but it is redundant with my Large Plain Jane Basketweave, so it never really saw much use or carry. It shows the same snail trail on the front of the lockside near the closed tip of the blade, just like the 25. This ends up on every CRK folder I have, so it must be how I slide them back into my pocket.

The blade does have a couple of faint marks, I assume from a piece of cardboard. They can be seen in the first photo of the blade, and they are as faint as they seem in the photo. The factory edge has been touched up on a Spyderco fine stone, with the factory bevel completely intact.

Lockup is rock solid and right around 50%, depending on how you judge it. Centering is perfect.

The knife has been disassembled and properly reassembled. Action is smooth, and the blade will free drop when the lockbar is moved. When opening slowly, one can still feels the detent passing over the ridges in the damascus, so the detent will break in a bit more with use.

The price is $105 --> $125 --> $145 --> $155 off of retail, and this is not a common combination of Sebenza. It took me a year to find one. In that time, though, I found a new appreciation for my plain jane, so this may never see the use I intended for it.
