thanks for the reply, I think the Striders are one of the few designs I'm interested in that I haven't tried out yet. Maybe this isn't the right place to discuss, but send me to a link if you have run across a good thread about what the Strider design does best.

Not a fan of “strider” so I recommend trying out the Buck Collab. I loved mine
