Hi guys, I am selling a CRK Mountaineer 1. Please find the details listed below.

- Light user from the 1st owner.
- It has the factory edge but needs some sharpening.
- There are some hairline scratches and some very small coating chips. All can be remedied by a visit to the Spa for complete recoating (US$30 to $35).
- Complete accessories included: Leather Sheath, paracord lanyard, box and birth card.
- Manufactured date to follow.
- Overall condition is great.

Can any mod confirm if it is okay as an individual to ship out a knife to New York? I've read a new law that prohibits a company to ship or sell knives to any person in New York.

I am however unsure of this.

Yesterday I got by usps knife Ghris Reeve Jereboam I -9'', one weeks ago got Tanto IV - 5.5', 3 weeks ago Nica Tanto CR-4.'. Not a problem to send a knife. ( Your blade 4,5' ) All will be ok .Eduard

Hey ice_man, there is no such law prohibiting the shipment of knives to New York State. There are some special laws dictating knife carry in New York City, but they don't apply to knife ownership, only concealed carry. New York State in general has no "special" knife laws, despite what some people are lead to believe.

Hi DF Custom Knives, thank you for your reply. All these knife laws in every state is just too confusing for me and wanted to get an opinion before I proceed and accept any buyer from NY. I know about some of the laws about carrying knives in NY, but not familiar with selling / shipping a knife there.
