CRK Nitpicks

Actually, if I could have just one thing it would have to be a super steel. Get away from the S30V and S35V. Maybe S90V.

So, the only current element that we're left with is the sticker on the box??? :D  ;)

For my money, my Sebenza could lose the extra hole, have an anodized handle to reduce sctatching, and have a more exotic steel (like CPM S110V).

These are the slight changes I would like to see as well--as long as we are nitpicking. :)

I can understand why the hole remains and they have not offered a super steel, but I have never been able to understand the lack of anodizing that would offer scratch resistance to the handles.

For me it's just one thing that bothers me since the 21 model: the front of the handle covers the "ricasso" grind line. It has zero practical impact but I so much prefered the grinds like on the Classic MM.

I would prefer silver to the stock blue lugs.
I love the lugs just the way they are.
I wish the scales were bead instead of sand blasted. I assume they are sand blasted because the one I had reblasted is much rougher then my Lg. P which has the stock finish.

I wish that the Seb's lock bar would not push all the way over and touch the other side when truly squeezed. Mr. Reeve explained to me years ago that this was the result of, by design, the lockbar buckling at the bend cutouts.

I still wish the blade tang ramp was angled such that this didn't happen. Never worn a Seb out though, so maybe it's not a legitimate peeve.

Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing about the small regular Seb, only maybe to bring it back into production.

Professor.

I actually prefer the less angled tang ramp because it probably causes less wear on the lockbar.

You're probably right. It definitely makes for what I'd think to be a more secure lockup, where I've had linerlocks and framelocks with more angled ramps actually fold when any sharp impact was made on the back of the blade (not necessarily a "spine whack," but perhaps similar).

nitpics...

only that the crk vibe is very "stick with what sells" i would love to see a more "lets keep on innovating" vibe. because clearly with the ril and ti lock. the possibility for many more models and innovations are there.

My only real nit pick is that the lanyard frays. They pack a lot of blade in that handle:eek:

My nit pick: I can't ever seem to find the one i'm looking for, a large Regular. Bring'em back please.:D

Another one:

You can never stop with the current one you have, more always will follow.
