I'll be going. This will be my first knife show, so I'm excited. That said, are we allowed to bring a knife into the show? The website is vague.

Is it prohibited? That's kinda weird... I'll try to call the number on their website tomorrow and ask...

Talked to some guys who went to the previous CCKS and they said knives are fine... it would be pretty funny if you can't take knives to a knife show... :D

At previous shows (as noted), there was no security checkpoint, nor any prohibition on carry of knives in hall. Many traders/sellers were walking around with backpacks and or Maxpedition rolls full of knives. Numerous show/tell/trade/sell opportunities among attendees.

I'll have a large Busse on my hip, a black cap on, and a new CRK Swahili shirt on, so come introduce yourself and say hi!
I'll bring a few knives to show/sell/trade. :D

Went to the show. CA knife laws are actually not bad at all. Only thing not legal are autos over 2" and butterfly knives. It's legal to carry any size folder but must be concealed. Any size fixed blade as long as it showing. LA and a few other inner cities have a 3" rule. We were all pulling out our knives that we purchased in the restaurant in the hotel and all the waiters we're intrigued. Nobody had any issues.
Anyways...I caved and purchased 1 of 16 Halloween edition 21s

These went fast.

I will be at the show again tomorrow. Hopefully I will see some of you there. Find me there and I might know where to get another one [emoji106]

No double edge daggers allowed in The Socialist Republic of California.

Most of the good stuff gone on the first day.

On Sunday hung out at the Les George table most of the day.

Had a blast, met a few Forumites, and saw some great knives,,, was a little disappointed by a strong lack of interest in doing business by the 3 dealers I tried to interact with!Very strange indeed!
