CRK Service/Spa Confusion??

Sorry for the dumb question but I cant seem to figure this out.
To send in my sebenza for servicing/spa treatment, do I have to contact their customer service before hand to give them a heads up or do I just send the knife in with the printed form they have without letting them know.
 
Giving them a heads up is never a bad idea, but not totally necessary.
Also, don't send the box, birthcard or other documents. Just the knife...well packaged with the instructions for what you would like to have done.

+1 on knife only.

A typed letter with instructions is all u need.

If u are wanting upgrades or changes a quick email beforehand will verify if what u want is possible.
 
Just make sure you specify exactly what u want. I sent some in and got new washers and such but did not get my old washer back. Be as specific as u can. But beware mine took about 2 and half months to get back to me. Take that into consideration and dont leave urself without a folder. Then again most of us have plenty
 
To state the obvious-remember to supply them with your contact info
and they suggest you insure it.
If you don't want something that is part of the standard spa treatment, mention that also-such as bead blasting or sharpening
