We have a Shadow IV that we took in a trade. The knife is in very good condition with the only noticeable wear being on the aluminum end cap. The edge has never been touched and may have sliced some paper at best. If the dings on the cap bug you, you can order a brand new one from Chris Reeve website for $15.
