CRK style pocket sheath for a slipjoint

Any suggestions on a simple leather pocket sheath for a Case Trapper in the style of the Chris Reeve Sebenza sheaths?

I don't want a "fitted" or "molded" sheath, rather a universal one I can use for different knives.

I just made this one for a Trapper.....kind of a fancy Trapper at that, it's been modded with MOP scales, so I wanted to make it a presentation kinda pouch for the lucky new owner.
The leather is a bit thick (8oz, and lined with soft upholstery leather) for carrying, IMO, ...4oz may be a bit more practical for carrying in the pocket.
