Who here would like to see CRK have an offering in a "super steel"? Now that CRK has a little different focus and is trying some new things could such a thing be a reality?
They do a decent job with their steel and have made their reasons known as to why they use and how they do it in their knives but I for one would really like to see a sebenza in something like M390, CPM3V, 20CV or something of the like and all HT'd to the sweet spot for their performance. INO at the price point these tools cost I don't think anyone would complain. Yea they might be a little harder to sharpen but who here is using a coffee cup as a sharpener, most if not everyone here is using a sharp maker or similar of something better so I don't see sharpenability to be much of an issue.
I'd like to see them try something like this even if it was a small batch/limited run...maybe someone like Wilson Combat or TNK could talk them into trying it?!?
