Well, I tried to trade them, but not a lot of interest, so now I will sell them and buy what I want. I am not the original owner of either knife, but they sure look like LNIB condition to me. I have not used them. Only carried them a few times. So, while they are not safe queens (minimal handling marks), you will not find scratches, abrasions, chips, dents, or any other compromise. Both are bank vault lockup with ZERO blade play and very smooth.
First up is a CRK large Sebenza TNK exclusive tanto. I have the original box, card, cloth, etc. I will look up the DOB this evening and edit my post later. I had the gritty bead blast finish typical of CRK Ti frames taken to a near satin finish with Scotchbrite. There’s a whole photo spread with progress pics under Maintenance, Tinkering & Embellishment. Just search Sebenza Facelift. Every Seb I have owned has picked up marks on the Ti frame like a magnet picks up steel shavings. Not this one. Trust me. If that bothers you too, you will LOVE this one. He also Flitzed the pivot and washers and Froglubed it. Smoothest Sebbie I have ever held.
Second is a Strider SNG DGG in CPM154. Shows a couple of faint, miniscule handling marks on the frame & blade…but, it’s a Strider! If you are interested in it, odds are it’s not to display in your curio cabinet. This one has no sticky lock, no lock rock, no blade play and the new lock geometry. Sorry to say I no longer have the Strider tactical Ziploc baggie. I’m sure I can dig up something comparable.
I would like to sell these for $375 each, which includes shipping (US only) via USPS priority insured, insurance and Paypal fees. If you send a money order, I’ll credit the Paypal fees. If you would like to purchase both, knock $50 off for an even $700.
Email me through my profile with any questions or for any additional photos that you may like to see. Thanks!
