CRK twist lock?

I seem to remember seeing a picture of an Opinel style twist lock made by Chris Reeve. Am I hallucinating, or was this real? Anyone have one?...pics?

You are not hallucinating. I can't remember how many he made, but it was a small number (a dozen comes to mind). If the rest of my hazy memories are correct, I believe they had damascus blades, a titanium locking ring, and some kind of exotic wood for the handle. VERY nice looking knife overall.

Here is a "Helix Lock" by Chris Reeve next to an Umfaan.

Made in the '80s when they were still in SA. When I got this I was told there were 20 but Anne Reeve says she has #21 so there are at least that many.
