Good morning everyone,
I have for sale today a lightly used CRK Umnumzaan. I purchased the knife from KnivesShipFree about a month ago, and have carried it a few times. The factory edge was rather obtuse, so I thinned out the shoulders on my DMT stones and stropped at 4 micron to clean up the edge. In doing so, I managed to wear the blade a bit at the choil, and I marked the left hand thumb stud with a pass. This represents all of the wear on the knife, as it shows no wear from use. In the photo album below, I have circled in red the areas in question.
Otherwise, the knife is like new and a perfect specimen. The action is indescribably smooth, even compared to the Sebenza I still prefer, lockup is solid and plenty early, and centering is perfect, as far as I can tell.
Bonus: I also just purchased a CRK Hawk clip to try out, and I have found it is not for me. If you would like to have it with the Umnumzaan, just let me know, and I'll slip it in the box.
Given that I have sharpened the knife and managed to mark it as described and pictured, I would like to see $OLD for the Umnumzaan. That is $100 off of retail for a few marks from a necessary sharpening.
