lol, what I replied to was the username IDAHO, just thought it was kinda funny, but yes, I understand CRK and CRKT are in fact 2 different companies, and by ""Taiwan stamped just better than Chinese.", I was referring to my actual knife, which has "Taiwan" stamped on the blade, and like I said , I received this particular knife as a gift. I have had no REAL problems with it, I just wanted to confirm that CRKT (Columbia River Knife and Tool), is in fact an AMERICAN company...growing up on said "Columbia River" in Oregon Just curious on the roots of this Company.
