'Walk and Talk' is a term usually reserved for old-time slip-joint folders, but is a great way to describe the pleasing combination of sound and action that takes place when you open a CRK folder as well. Excluding lock strength, deployment speed etc, which is the most pleasing CRK to open in regards to sound and feel? I notice a distinct difference in sound between my large and small 21s. Smoothness is similar on most of my CRK, so the noise they make is more what sets them apart to me, but I don't own a Ti-Lock or Mnandi so can't comment on those.
Which CRK has the most pleasing 'walk and talk?
Is it the sharp high-pitch double click of a small 21 or the low double-click of the large 21?
The pronounced single click of the 25 as you swing out that fat blade and the ball drops across the tang?
The muffled thud of the Zaan as your thumb finishes the forward push?
Does the Ti-Lock have its own sound and feel?
Is there something unique about the regulars deployment?
Mnandi?
For me I think I like the quick double click of the small 21 the best. My wife dislikes all the sounds equally, and has banned 'knife-clicking' from 'movie night'.
