CRK walk and talk. Favourite action and sound?

I have some knives where the distinctive sounds of their opening and closing, is one of the features I enjoy the most. With the Umnumzan, the whisper-like quite, almost silent opening, never fails to please me.

The best sound is opening and closing my Umnumzaan with smaller o-rings.
Really, I love it!

When i close my Umnumzaan gently, it sounds like the subtle sing chirp a Cardinal makes. It calms me.

I've had a few LG 21s and I loved the noises they made. Sold them to fund other things at the time but I now miss them.

Oh wow!!

I thought I was the only one that liked the sound of his knives opening and closing LOL.

I can tell by the clicking sound on opening if there is too much lint caught in between the blade and the stop bar that it's time to pull the knife down and clean it.

Classic large sebenza with wood for those interested :)

I've got a confession to make... I ride the lockbar over to beneath the tang with my thumb. I don't do it every time but when I am just sitting around admiring it and working the action I do. I've been hard on women before but when it comes to knives and guns I will give a soft touch on occasion. Semper fi

I always liked the discrete solid sound of my (now departed) Zaans. The Large CF Insingo (KA CF slab version) has an impressive "thock" falling into battery. The precise small click of my Small Micarta 21 is sweet in its own quite way.

Sitting here enjoying a frosty beer in the sun, and remarking, as I often do, on the pleasing "click-click" of deploying my small 21, followed by that nice metallic "tick" of it closing.........again and again and again and again!!!:D

My favorite is the Large 21 in carbon fiber. The CF somehow amplifies the sound. It's incredible.

The first run Large Inkosi (with the groove) also sounds / feels amazing. Love it.

I like the sound of my 1911 going into battery....oh, wait, and my small Inkosi locking into place.

The best sounding one I have is a well used, dogeared large Classic with African Blackwood.
