From overnight couch potato to mountain hiker, I have to say no but it wasn't from lack of trying.

The OP's walking stick is one of the later models from the CRK shop and it certainly is a nice one.
Mine is one of the first prototypes Chris made.

Prototype it may be.................

But I think realising $900 for that beauty might be a tad optimistic.

I exagerated a touch-only $899.95
This is a high end one( for whch I quoted the price)-wenge wood and walrus tusk and most likely a price on the high end also. They had 2 a bit ago so they sold 1,, but I don't know for what $.

The other one was $1300 if I remember correctly. Too rich for me :-(

A certain site, which shall remain nameless, is offering an African Blackwood walking stick. Sadly, at $900 it's out of my Great Recession-reduced price range, but it's definitely a thing of beauty.

Actually, I was wavering on whether to pull the trigger and buy it even though it's clearly out of my price range. I've never been more drawn towards a walking stick (and I own a few nice ones) than this one.

I'm either going to buy it tonight or assume that someone else will pick it up soon.

No in with Chris. It was listed on Blade Gallery and I don't think it was available for more than a couple of days. I'm kicking myself for not buying it last night.
