I've had this Wilson Combat exclusive CRK StarTac Umnumzaan for a few months, and although I really like it, it just doesn't see much pocket time. That's why I'm letting it go.
I'm the original owner of the knife. I carried it a couple of times, but it's never been used for anything more than cutting open a few packages and envelopes. When I first got the knife, I put Tuf-Glide on the blade and the pivot and also removed the lanyard since I prefer knives without them. The knife comes with its box everything I received with it, including the lanyard parts (see pictures). As you'll see from the photos and the card, this is the version with CPM-S30V as the blade steel. As you'd expect from CRK, the lockup, blade centering, etc. are perfect. Since the knife has been carried and used a bit, but shows little or no signs of use, I'm calling its condition used (excellent).
Also, if you've been following the CRK or WTB subforums here on BladeForums, you might know that CRK recently added a Hinderer-style disc to the StarTac Umnumzaan in order to limit overextension of the lockbar. Whatever its functional merits, I think it's safe to say that the disc, leaves something to be desired in terms of aesthetics (see this thread for pics/discussion). As the title of this thread (as well as the pictures) indicates, the version I'm looking to sell is from before the introduction of the lockbar disc.
I'm asking SOLD for the knife here (add 3% if paying via PayPal and not using the 'personal' tab). Shipping via USPS Priority Mail w/ DC & $---- of Insurance is $12 within the United States. I'm also happy to ship to non-US destinations via USPS Express Mail International, which is $36 (at buyer's risk).
