I still need to put this one threw the motions yet - but so far I like it!

This is one of the many CRKT designs that irritate me to no end. The design screams lefty friendly, but they almost go out of their way to NOT accommodate lefty clip drilling.

I hear ya - I'm a lefty that had to get used to living in a right-handed world brother :-)

My bro. I'm right there with you. Drill and tap for lefty carry. That's it. It's not hard. You can leave the lock exactly as is. Just give me the option to carry it left pocket, tip down. It's so frustrating.

I'm surprised lefties can stand righty frame locks. Doesn't your thumb interfere with the lock bar when opening?

For me personally, not at all. My thumb rides right up the side of the spine/side of the blade and engages the stud in a straight upward motion. I can usually manipulate and open the blade no problem. My biggest problems come with Spydercos that are frame locks that hide the lock side Spyder-hole behind the lock bar. There always seems to be a relief cut on the opposite side for righties to easily get a purchase in the hole with their thumbs while us lefties have to resort to a left middle finger flick method. I'd personally like to see a bit of a relief cut on the lock bar to allow my left thumb to get a better purchase in the hole as well. My Slysz Bowie is a good example of this. I can middle finger flick it easy, but sometimes I'd like a more deliberate, slow opening which I have to pinch the blade out a bit with my index and thumb, then use just my thumb the rest of the way. It's not a big deal since I've become accustomed to it. But just an example of the lefty issues. I could go on and on about how unfriendly the knife world is to lefties. But I'm a sucker for punishment... always looking for another knife.
