CRKT Cobra?

I was in a knife store today, and saw a knife I had never seen before, It was a CRKT and the clerk said it was a Cobra. Has anyone heard of it? is it a discontinued model? Al

Yes, I believe it's discontinued. Used to have folding versions of it as well. I never really liked the folding Cobra or Komodo series. The fixed blades seemed pretty comfortable. Steel is AUS-6, as usual. Holds up pretty well, but expect to sharpen more frequently than you would on a AUS-8 or 154CM/ATS-34 blade.

Yah, I used to have one...A CRKT Cobra Gold (Gold Cobra?) that I received in a trade. It wasn't a BAD folder, but not nearly as stout as the newer CRKT folders. (It DID have some GREAT feeling rubber grips, 'tho.).
