When good things happen, I like to make sure credit is given.

I recently won a CRKT Hissatsu as a noobie giveaway here (thanks JStacy).

The sender told me that the auto assist open was broken. It works as a manual folder, but I decided to email CRKT to see what the extent of work would be.

After viewing pics, CRkt determined that I need a holding screw for the spring and are sending meone free of charge. I am not the original owner and told them so, but it made no difference.
So, I am on my way to opening my first knife up and tryin a repair on my own. Wish me luck.

Just wanted to say thanks to JStacy and to CRKT. This is going to be great.
 
Good luck to you! I ordered some parts that were missing from my dad's older CRKT 3.5" Denali and I'm still waiting for them to come so I, like you, can put the knife together like it used to be (minus where I had to reprofile the blade tip because he bent it using the knife as a pry-bar :rolleyes:).
