I bought a CRKT Crawford Falcon this weekend. I got home and noticed that the clip was missing one of the screws. I bought it from the local range and they only have them one at a time so if I returned it, they would have to order one and I really wanted the knife :D

So ......knowing that most companies online support sucks I sent crkt an email anyway. It was a Saturday so I didn't bother calling. I wasn't holding my breath and figured I would have to call Monday.

I simply said I bought a new knife and one of the screws is lost and gave them my address. First thing today I get an email saying that the parts will be shipped within a week for free and that I should use loc tite as a preventative measure in the future.

Sooooo simple......
Sooooo polite......
Sooooo quick.......

They have a good customer in me. I'm looking to find two more of these now. ;)

(You always see the negative posts about companies but not always the positive)

Hi,

I agree with you !

As you see on my Profile I live in Germany.
The CRKT Customer Support even shipped to Germany new Screws and a Clip for my Neck P.E.C.K for free.
I thougt I had to pay at least for shipping costs but they didn't want any money - THUMBS UP for the CRKT Customer Support !!

Greetings
Olli

Customer service is excellent at CRKT. I've had several dealings with them (nothing to do with quality issues) and every occasion has been great. No hassles with getting extra screws, clips, etc. This is very rare in my experience.

I sent a knife back to one well known tactical knife company and have not been able to get in touch with them yet. I sent the thing back in October! More than likely my knife is gone.

I just got off the phone today with another well known knife company, and the person that answered the phone should've stayed at home. Lousy service, no order.

I haven't had any problems with the CRKT knives I own but it's nice to know what to expect from thier Customer Service if I ever do.

Yeah, most of the problems seem to be guys loosing screws or clips :D

I'm glad things went well for you and CRKT...but this is best suited for GB&U forum...so I'll move it over there for you.
