Back from the dead, didn't know more people replied to this thread..
Thanks for the high quality pictures, they helped a bunch. Before reading your post yesterday, I had no idea that this knife existed. Now you've sparked my interest and I'm pretty set on buying the Urban Trapper over the Leek and Eros, simply because of the SUPER light weight, and very dressy style that suits me.
I have one question of concern though: can you tell me a bit about your experience with the flipper? I've read everywhere that a lot of people have a problem with deploying the knife because of the tiny flipper, so I wanted to know about your opinion on it.
Thnks!
Take a look at Boker urban trapper, it's blade stock is thicker, superb slicer, titanium scale and weights nothing. It's same size as the Eros when folded.
I have both but the Boker sees a lot more use, the Eros stainless is a bit heavy or its size. You will hear people complain about it being too slippery which is true mostly because there's no texture and with the weight plus my hands are sweaty... They are both gentleman's folder, apple to apple the Boker wins out right, titanium handle, VG10 blade, better grind for slicing utility, lighter than EROS,... Heck if u really want a EROS I will sell my to you for cheaps
