If I could find one up here, I would probably buy it

It's one of the few that CRKT has put out in the last year that has actually caught my eye. Touching/fondling first, though. I have a few CRKT's in my collection and haven't really been disappointed with what I've purchased. I actually found one of the Koji Hara Ichi's up here, and it was nice, but it was much smaller than I expected, so I'm glad I didn't buy it blind. I was, at one time, going to get one of the Montana Gentleman's, but it was the same - much smaller than I envisioned, but the Lake P.A.L. was much larger than I thought

I did buy the P.A.L., BTW. It's built like a tank, and probably the closest I'll ever get to a Lake

I have one of the CRKT/Kommer Kaiyuh Hunters and it's very well made for the money - the leather sheath that came with it was excellent. Haven't used it enough, really, to comment on edge retention - it was using a steel I had never heard of, but with what I did, knocking down some boxes plus a bit leather trimming (8/9 oz stuff), it didn't dull a bit. I was expecting it to dull when I trimmed the leather - I was splitting a double shoulder so I could store it better. Up here, they are running in the same price bracket as Spydies, so unless there's isn't a Spydie around that I want to buy......If there is one I bump into, it won't be this week - I'm thinking either one of the Salts or a D'Allara Drop Point, but then again.....depends on what I find
