Hello, I've been carrying CRKT's Hissatsu Folder for quite some time now, and was looking for something that could replace it. I'm wondering if there are anything similar in shape, looks, or functionality. Pictures would help. Thanks.

I have the same knife. If you are a fan of tanto style blades and want something similar in size and around the same price as your Hissatsu check out the Gerber Edict. It's a lock back in 154CM steel. Also it's made in the U.S.A.:thumbup::thumbup: Doesn't have the spring loaded feature of the Hissatsu but the lock up is solid and the handle is much more comfortable to hold. Love mine.

As far as shape and design, the Benchmade Bedlam, CS Talwar, CS Pro Lite Tanto, Emerson Persian, CRKT Heiho, CRKT M16 would be good choices and similar to your Hissatsu.
Weight-wise, and tactical-intended purpose wise I'd compare it to the CS AK47, CS Recon 1, Spyderco Resilience, Ontario Utilitac II, KaBar Mule, Emerson CQC8, Emerson Roadhouse, Benchmade Stryker, Benchmade Adamas, SOG Kiku, CRKT Crawford Kasper, Spyderci Police, Gerber Applegate folder.

I recommend checking them out, and good luck with your choice!

Something in the ballpark that may make it into production is the Emetson Kwaiken. I'm loving the looks of it.
