CRKT Hissatsu: Who has one that came coated, and stripped it with great results?

I have a new CRKT Hissatsu. Love the shape and length of the blade, but it came coated. The coating is a little hard to describe. What I really want is a shiney, reflective blade. My past attempts on other coated knives has been less than perfect. Has anyone here successfully done what I am considering doing?

Thanks for linking my post for me B.Mauser ;).....beat me to it. I actually just went over the blade with a finer grit sandpaper and polished the backspacer while I was at it. Here's a couple new pics:

IDK...I look at it like ordering pizza...if you like anchovies...have them on it ordered...if not, don't order them on it....

This knife really shines without coating. Such shame that so many knives get slaughtered by ugly coating. :(

Thanks tengster. And I agree A.L.- another thing I don't like about coatings is it wears off and makes the knife look crappier than necessary.

Why do I think this knife is so awesome? Every time I see one I want it more. Must... Resist... Urge to... Buy...

Oh I'm well aware. Been on for several months... Already spent an irresponsible amount of money thanks to this very site. Screw it. I'm buying this knife.

Way to go man....xjzhx...

After you have this, you may switch your attention to Hissatsu 2 too.....or even the fixed blade. Here are some poison...
