CRKT Hissatsu: Who has one that came coated, and stripped it with great results?

cool pics...the angry birds are a nice touch ;) The one I handled was the polished blade. I think that's the one i'll go with when I pick one up. Plus, then it'll match my folder :D.
 
the gun show me and droppoint went to, we got to handle the fixed blade and the hissatsu-2 folder. Having owned the first hissatsu folder, the second was a lot more of a casual folder, styled grips, polished blade, not tactical like the first H folder. And its much smaller, about the size of a small buck vantage. being polished blade, id use it alot more, but i liked the feel of the bigger folder. Now that Droppoint polished the H folder i sold him, i want another one to do that to since i prefer the overall knife more than the H-2 folder, i just never used it since it was coated. Great more money to spend, ha!
 
I had my fixed blade Hissatsu bead-blasted, It started out with a mirror, and satin finish.
 
I have now completed my collection hissatsu & hissatsu2 (HeiHo) folders and also fixed blade Hissatsu (black). Cant tell how satisfied I am? They aint gonna be users....more for flick flick or watch watch......need to take family photo one of these days....

To perfect this item, you can change the thumb-disc to steel type without black coating. CRKT has it. It's exactly the same they used for Hissatsu2 folder. The effect could be more magical. As of now, it's already very nice.
